Foundling
Inspired by childhood trauma, these brooches represent how the memory of childhood is retained through out the adult life. In every conversation, there is risk that someone accidently touches some specific point, it is like suddenly popping the needle, the memory of trauma can be shocking. I want to bring awareness that childhood experience affects adult behaviour.
This collection represents different relation between people and the wearer, some people touch the pink fur but might not press the button, but even is not pressed, the danger and the fear still exist. However, if the button is pushed only the wearer can feel the needles suddenly popping into their skin, but if they don’t say out to people, no one will know actually there is something hurt them. In the sense this represent that in every new conversation, there is three types of conversational of risk that might happen. First type of conversation will just like in general, second type of conversation will might approach a bit. Last type of conversation will direction question that point out direct which can be painful.
